Kendal is a native of Prince George’s County, MD. He found a passion for physical therapy during his undergraduate tenure at Coppin State University where he became fascinated with fitness and physical rehabilitation. Kendal received a B.S. in Sports Management from Coppin State University in 2017. After working as a physical therapy technician for many years after undergrad, he decided to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant where he attended Montgomery College from 2022–2024 graduating with an A.A.S in Health Sciences and subsequently earning his PTA license.
As an active PTA for two years and counting, Kendal prides himself in helping all patients achieve full recovery. Kendal incorporates his personal training background in the clinic by ensuring correct form and appropriate exercise progression as well as implementing creative exercises to fit patients’ needs and capabilities.
Kendal also serves as the lead provider in La Plata PT’s partnership with Charles County Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, supervising high school students in their physical rehabilitation internship.
