Lisa Broome, PA-C brings over 18 years of experience as a Certified Physician Assistant to her orthopedic practice at Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. She joined the practice in May 2019 following years of collaboration with Dr. Gregg Ferrero’s team beginning in 2011.
Lisa diagnoses and treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions including sprains, strains, nondisplaced fractures, osteoarthritis, tendinitis, and joint swelling. She is experienced in in-office procedures including splinting, casting, aspiration, corticosteroid injections, and viscosupplementation injections.
Her career has spanned general orthopedics, spinal and pediatric specialties, and family medicine, including roles with Dr. Rozran and Dr. Spatz in Prince Frederick, as well as positions with Leon Medical Center and Leatherwood Medical Center. Early in her career, she served as an Accredited Athletic Trainer with NFL sports camps and collegiate teams at HealthSouth Healthcare.
A La Plata native, Lisa is deeply rooted in the Southern Maryland community. She is a mother of two and is actively involved in coaching local youth athletics.
