Marquis is a Physical Therapist Assistant with a background in exercise physiology and a passion for helping patients move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they love. Marquis began working in outpatient physical therapy in 2015 as a rehabilitation technician, where a passion for helping others inspired a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Marquis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from West Liberty University in 2013 and an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies through the CACHE PTA Program at the College of Southern Maryland in 2024.
With a focus on outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, Marquis enjoys helping patients of all ages build strength, improve mobility, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them. Marquis has also earned a certificate of completion for the Champions Baseball Rehab Specialist course, further developing knowledge in the rehabilitation and return-to-sport needs of baseball athletes.
Marquis takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and strives to create a positive, supportive environment throughout every patient’s recovery. As a credentialed clinical instructor, Marquis also enjoys mentoring students and helping prepare the next generation of physical therapy professionals.
Outside of the clinic, Marquis enjoys staying active by playing coed and men’s league slow-pitch softball. A love of sports and an active lifestyle provide a personal connection to the goals many patients are working toward—getting stronger, staying active, and getting back to doing what they love.
