About Mary Clare Zavada, DPM
Dr. Zavada was born in Connecticut and moved to Maryland when she was very young. She grew up in Anne Arundel County, and after graduating from Archbishop Spalding High School, she went on to college and graduated from Salisbury University. At that time, she took a job as a medical assistant in a podiatry office and found her love for podiatry. Dr. Zavada then attended the Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL, and graduated in 2011. She subsequently completed her Surgical Residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Zavada has practiced in Southern Maryland for several years now, and she is also on staff at Calvert Health Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
