Bernard Andre, PA-C

Bernard Andre, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in the treatment of adult musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus on the neck, back, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Holding a dual degree in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA in Health Care Management, Bernard serves as the Vice President of the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) and Clinical Operations.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Bernard relocated to Southern Maryland in December 2020. He earned his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering/Professional Pilot from Dowling College in 2001 and worked in the aviation industry until transitioning to pursue a Physician Assistant degree at Touro College in Oakdale, NY, starting in January 2005.

In 2010, Bernard graduated Cum Laude from Dowling College with an MBA in Health Care Management. Prior to joining Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in April 2022, he served as a Senior Physician Assistant at New York Presbyterian Queens from 2009 to 2020.

Currently, Bernard collaborates with Dr. Kirsten Poehling-Monaghan at Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, providing comprehensive care in both clinical and surgical settings. He also assists Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, Dr. Gregg Ferrero, and Dr. Satheesh Ramineni at the Ambulatory Surgical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Bernard is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the highest quality care, emphasizing clear communication and understanding of diagnoses and treatments.

Outside of his professional commitments, Bernard enjoys quality time with his wife and children, hosting gatherings around his firepit with friends, and pursuing his passion as an aspiring DJ. Committed to patient well-being, Bernard can be found practicing in Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine offices in Waldorf, La Plata, National Harbor, and Prince Frederick.
